The Newcastle Community Activities Commission met Dec. 10, 2025, adopted the agenda and minutes, heard a public comment from Mayor Rob Clark, reviewed event reports (holiday market, Lights of Newcastle) and volunteer needs, discussed scheduling for summer events (fireworks, concerts, Newcastle Days) and finalized recommended dates to send to city staff, and reviewed the annual work plan ahead of a Jan. 20 council presentation.
