An unidentified speaker, serving as Medina mayor, delivered a long reflective address about his upbringing, 26-year police career, community policing programs, drug enforcement work, responses to protests, and downtown improvements including public restrooms and a hotel under construction; he also said he is completing 16 years as mayor and looks forward to handing the office to Jim Shields.
