Judson ISD trustees held a special meeting Dec. 10 to hear public comment and discuss a district budget shortfall, proposed budget parameters and staffing/program reductions to close an estimated multi‑million dollar deficit. Staff presented CAPA reduction options, insurance run‑out risks and possible campus consolidations; trustees debated timing and tradeoffs between fund‑balance risk and protecting classroom programs.
