Meeting called to order; pledge of allegiance and invocation led by Father Gardner (Church of the Redeemer). Mayor asked for changes to the agenda; none were raised; council moved/seconded and approved the agenda unanimously (voice: 7-0).
Hilton Head Island Town Council held its regular meeting on Dec. 9, 2025. Council approved final readings and funding steps for the Northpointe workforce housing development, approved ATAX grant recommendations (including a contested award to the Lowcountry Golf Course Owners Association), authorized general obligation bonding language (up to $35 million) for public-safety and land purchases, and accepted several neighborhood roads into the town system.
