City of Lake City held a council workshop on Dec. 1, 2025 to continue review of a draft mobility plan and to discuss a proposed mobility fee intended to fund multimodal transportation projects. Consultant Lauren Rushing presented the fee schedule, examples of charges by land use, legal requirements under Florida statute, and recommended next steps toward ordinance and comprehensive plan amendment.
