The Salem City Committee on Ordinances, Licenses and Legal Affairs met Dec. 18, 2025, to process municipal claims and parking/towing appeals. The committee authorized the city solicitor to pursue an abatement for a $10,250 condo water bill, denied multiple liability claims, and left a series of street-sweeping/towing appeals in committee for further review of signage and notification practices.
