Omaha Public Schools board held a workshop to review a draft 2025–2030 strategic plan centered on a ‘moonshot’ goal: all students reading on grade level by 2030. Staff presented the plan’s three chapters (why change is needed, strategy, and measurement), board members gave detailed feedback on data presentation, implementation, and resource alignment, and staff committed to a revised draft in February and a final presentation in March.
