Duxbury School Committee held a budget hearing and voted to approve the FY27 school budget of $46,474,501 (a 4.83% increase). Committee members debated staffing restorations, special-education data accuracy and reporting, a proposal to absorb full-day kindergarten into the operating budget, athletics and fee policy, and several cost-center votes; a DECA overnight trip and multiple policy first readings were also considered.
