The Whitefish Planning Commission met Dec. 17, 2025 to review the housing element of the Vision Whitefish 2045 growth policy. Staff presented population projections, housing inventory and a housing-needs assessment; about two hours of public comment urged denser, more affordable housing and called for clearer implementation steps. Public comment will remain open and staff will post a red-line draft before the Jan. 7 meeting.
