The commission accepted the retirement of Fire Chief Larry Williams, approved a $12.22 million contract for a new Ennis Road community center amid cost-saving questions, adopted local rules to license consumable hemp products following state law, approved multiple grants and contracts, and authorized a utility cost-of-service study. The meeting closed into an executive session on pending litigation.
