Montgomery County Commission held an informational session Dec. 16 that included debate over allocating 10% of a 1¢ sales tax toward economic development (including potential support for Jackson Hospital), discussion of a COPS hiring grant that would add 10 deputies for three years, multiple small appropriations and contract items, and bids for refuse collection and facility services.
