Lewisville City Council held a workshop and regular session where a developer presented a rebranded mixed-use project (Lake District West) and council approved several ordinances and a Republic Services rate adjustment. Council voted to expand a tax increment reinvestment zone, approved a large rezoning for Lakeside Crossing, and adopted a 4% solid-waste rate increase effective Jan. 1, 2026.
