Harlingen City Commission met in November for routine business, rescinded a boil-water advisory after negative test results, approved several rezonings and ordinances, authorized infrastructure and equipment purchases, and discussed a contested conveyance of irrigation easements that prompted an executive session. The commission also recognized nonprofit Sunshine Haven and honored educator Guadalupe “Lupita” Armendariz.
