The Lafayette Board of Works held a regular meeting where members opened bids for the Lafayette Steel Site Road intersection project, approved contractor awards for emergency utility repairs, authorized funding for a Habitat for Humanity home, renewed a spay/neuter clinic subsidy, approved parks testing and police towing contract updates, granted one taxi permit and approved claims totaling $9,913,887.30. The meeting adjourned for the holidays.
