Palm Desert City Council held a study session that included a Riverside County Fire Department overview of the cooperative contract and cost-allocation model; a detailed presentation and council discussion about the citys fiscal reserves, policy options and 10-year projections; consideration of adding privately maintained medians and parkways into city landscaping and lighting districts (LLDs); and an update on the citys tourism marketing program.
