At its December meeting, the Hamilton City Council approved routine items including the 2026 holiday schedule, a $1,000 transfer into the police department drug fund, a $25,000 annual membership to the Northwest Alabama Economic Development Alliance, an ARPA-funded sanitation trailer purchase, an increase to the mayors discretionary spending limit, and the hiring of a meter reader.
