Coeur d'Alene announced its annual Leaf Fest neighborhood leaf pickup program, starting Nov. 12 and running through Dec. 1. The city said it expects to collect more than 2,000 tons of leaves and will mulch about 2.5 million pounds for reuse; residents are asked to rake leaves one foot from the curb, move vehicles during pickup, and avoid bagging or mixing debris in the street.
