The Wausau Board of Public Works held a Dec. 3 public hearing on four 2026 street reconstruction projects and proposed special-assessment rates; staff described construction impacts and assessment amounts, and one resident objected to the proposed assessment amount. Comments will go to the Infrastructure and Facilities Committee on Dec. 11 and to Common Council on Jan. 13.
