City council approved routine purchases and licenses, accepted a petition to put a rezoning ordinance to a municipal election on Nov. 3, 2026, approved a subrecipient grant with CCOG for a six-mile corridor study, and adopted a fire department personnel plan funded in part by a one-time $100,000 allocation. Several infrastructure and drainage projects were approved and the council recessed into executive session for contract consultation.
