Jefferson Union High School District trustees held their annual reorganization, approved a charter renewal and several routine consent items, heard a budget update that certified the district as able to meet its financial obligations, and received a Thornton High School spotlight featuring a remote independent study student. A trustee announced a required resignation and the board honored outgoing president Jerome Gallegos.
