The Newington Board of Education met Dec. 10, 2025. The board honored a bus driver for a safety intervention, heard reports on recruitment, co-teaching and student activities, received an indoor air quality update, discussed a five-year capital improvement plan focusing on an underfunded bus replacement cycle and technology refresh, approved a calendar date change and unanimously approved the CIP as amended.
