Kankakee City Environmental Services Utility board met Dec. 15, 2025. The board approved minutes and monthly bills, heard operational reports on street, sewer, lab and finance operations (including salt supplies and a new salt barn), discussed hydro plant relicensing and a long-running Manteno force-main/FOG problem, and reviewed a proposed solid-waste contract recommendation to continue service with Republic.
