The Newberg SD 29J Board of Directors met Dec. 9 to issue a board statement on student safety, approve an out-of-country student exchange trip to Asago City, Japan, review finances and grants, discuss boundary committee work and a possible local option levy to address declining enrollment, consider new high-school course proposals and fee changes, name the NHS wrestling room, and authorize refinancing for a Dundee property balloon payment.
