At its Dec. 16, 2025 meeting, the Interagency Transportation Equity Advisory Committee heard a legislative update from CalSTA on the 2026 calendar and several bills (including AB 98, AB 30, SB 131 and SB 79), discussed barriers to community participation (meeting times, interpretation, accessibility) and raised concerns about coordination between state agencies and local jurisdictions on truck routes, emissions monitoring and paratransit access.
