Portland Public Schools Board of Education met Dec. 16 in hybrid format. The board passed a resolution committing to equity and to commission an external equity audit; heard public comment about alleged workplace harms; reviewed a plan to assume early-childhood special education services from Child Development Services and recommended joining cohort 3 in a phased approach; and paused major transportation changes while planning further improvements.
