Coachella Valley Unified School District governing board met Dec. 11, 2025; trustees honored high-performing schools, elected officers for 2026, heard public health complaints about mold/asbestos at John Kelly Elementary and a staff explanation of remediation/testing, reviewed a qualified first interim financial report and stabilization plan, adopted a resolution aligning trustee pay with Assembly Bill 1390, approved construction contracts and other consent items, and announced closed‑session hires and reinstatements.
