Rochester Public Schools Board held a special and regular meeting Dec. 16, 2025 to present the statutorily required Truth in Taxation presentation, hear public comment on the proposed 2026 levy, review progress on the district's 2021 strategic plan (MTSS, belonging/behavior, mental health screening, career pathways, funding redesign), and approve three actions: sale of Skyline Schoolhouse, certification of the 2026 levy ($104,475,566.92, amended to include Wabasha County), and enhancements to the balanced budget model including an 80/20 compensatory funding allocation.
