The New Canaan Inland Wetlands Commission met Dec. 15, 2025, approved routine minutes and scheduled a site visit for a Waveney Park application to remove roughly 50 Norway maples, and spent the bulk of the meeting discussing public outreach: improving the wetlands webpage, realtor outreach, educational materials, and related regional initiatives including the Norwalk River Watershed and a proposed conservation license plate.
