Homewood City Council convened Dec. 22 for a brief meeting: the council conducted roll call, approved minutes/agenda/vouchers by 4–0 votes, read an ordinance proposing a no-parking zone on the east side of Linden Avenue (first reading) and carried it to Jan. 12, and scheduled three public hearings for Jan. 26 concerning a condemnation, a church development, and a pickleball court at Brookdale.
