The Sioux Falls School District 49-5 school board convened a brief regular meeting, approved minutes and routine consent items, heard a request for volunteer mentors at three schools, recognized a recent visit by the governor and first lady to the districts career and technical education academy, and noted an upcoming Jan. 26 strategic planning session before adjourning.
