At an organizational meeting, the Taylor County school board elected officers, set meeting dates (first and third Tuesdays at 5:15 and moved the Jan. meeting from the 20th to the 27th), retained legal counsel, approved committee assignments and then approved routine agenda items including an E-rate consulting contract and personnel recommendations after discussion of substitute hours for a community-school role.
