President Amy Cast called the meeting to order, led the pledge of allegiance, and introduced participants including recording secretary Peggy King, Superintendent Dr. Justin Irish, and board members Sandy Hayes, Jacqueline McCourty, and Elizabeth Sotak; Director Hahn Tran was noted as excused.
The Northshore School District Board met in a working session on Nov. 24, 2025, approving routine items, two action items (a >$1 million purchase for special-education services and a tentative collective bargaining agreement with the bus mechanics' union), and a monitoring report finding the superintendent has reasonably interpreted the district's Goal 5. The board also heard association updates supporting upcoming levy and bond measures and highlighted district musical programs.
