The Long Branch City Council met in November 2025, swore in a new council member and adopted Ordinance 0-13-25 updating the Oceanfront Broadway redevelopment plan. The council also introduced several first-reading ordinances including a $5,000,000 ARPA-funded boardwalk extension, a $2,000,000 bond for a fire truck, and zoning changes; public commenters pressed the council over a flag display at Pier Village and other local concerns.
