At its Oct. 20 meeting the Knox County Audit Committee reviewed multiple internal and external audit reports, including a Knox County Schools compensation-study audit that found implementation errors and documentation gaps, a payroll audit that flagged timekeeping practices, a capital-assets review with process recommendations, and several ongoing internal audits and follow-ups.
