Monroe County Election Board met in December to approve minutes, set its 2026 meeting schedule, and discuss election budget shortfalls that may force shorter early-voting hours, possible reductions in polling locations, poll-worker staffing and training. Staff also updated the board on facility renovations at Showers North, a BlueDAG contract approval at the commissionersmeeting, outstanding campaign finance filings, and public comment.
