At a Dec. 9 Lacey Township Board of Education meeting, the board read resolutions honoring retiring members, heard an SGA report and an unremarkable audit, received extended public comment alleging Open Public Meetings Act (OPMA) violations and misconduct by district leaders, and moved to rescind a prior vacancy appointment then appointed Carrie Opitz amid a pending court order restraining implementation of the earlier appointment.
