Streator City Council held a special meeting that included public comment about alley plowing, a public hearing and vote on a real-estate exchange with Jesus Mendoza, the FY2026 budget hearing and adoption, several bond-abatement ordinances, approval of routine purchases and contracts, and a move to adjourn into executive session on collective bargaining. Multiple routine ordinances and resolutions were approved unanimously.
