Chair called the December 15 Design Review Committee meeting to order, explained purpose of DRC (advisory guidance on Certificates of Appropriateness), and announced six items on the afternoon agenda. Chair asked that applicants introduce themselves and keep comments to two–three minutes.
The Design Review Committee (a subcommittee of the Historic Zoning Commission for Franklin City) met Dec. 15 to review six agenda items: door replacements at 121 Miles Manor Court; signage at 432/434 Main Street; partial demolition/addition at 251 2nd Avenue S; a new EMS station at 110 Alders Gateway; renovation/addition at 1309 Adams Street; and an addition at 210 3rd Avenue N. Commissioners and staff provided detailed design, materials and code guidance and requested follow-up information on dimensions, materials, visibility studies and signage/lot-coverage details.
