Student leaders pressed the Northampton School Committee on restroom closures and bathroom safety at Northampton High School; students also presented concerns and alternatives to a proposed statewide bell-to-bell cell phone ban. The committee accepted several donations, approved a budget transfer and policy update, extended a transportation contract, and advanced plans for a districtwide after‑school program and the superintendent search.
