At its Dec. 1, 2025 meeting the Cortland City Council held roll call, approved multiple ordinances and resolutions (including a cybersecurity policy and several emergency purchases), and withdrew a first-reading refuse contract ordinance after extended public comment and council questions about competitive bidding and recycling services. Council moved into an executive session on personnel at the end of the meeting.
