Boone County commissioners on Dec. 19 debated the assessor's request to extend a reassessment contract after rejecting bids, heard a written protest from Nexus Group alleging the rejection and proposed one-year recontracting would violate Indiana procurement law, and voted to keep several procurement and local infrastructure actions moving forward while approving job descriptions for in-house work.
