At its December meeting, the Austintown Local Schools Board approved multiple consent and superintendent recommendations including security cameras at Fitch High School, a contract for a school food truck using Title funds, the 2027 district calendar, a child nutrition procurement plan compliant with federal regulations, two early graduations, and the creation of a student-run Baking Club; the board also honored outgoing member Kathy Mok.
