Lake Placid Town Council reviewed and approved consent items and a large budget amendment, authorized staff to pursue title clearance for a small Placid Lakes Industrial Park parcel, and discussed (but did not decide) reserving sewer capacity tied to a $40 million FDEP septic-to-sewer grant. Several residents and council members raised concerns about minutes, project scope changes for a pickleball/boat-ramp project, and project cost estimates.
