President Robert Troiano Jr. called the Nov. 19 meeting to order and the district clerk pro tem confirmed a quorum. Trustees present included Vice President Floyd Ewing, Trustee Robin Bolling, Trustee Rodney Kanes, Dr. Dickerson, Trustee Mateo Flores and Trustee Michelle Wilson.
The Westbury Union Free School District Board met Nov. 19 for a combined planning and action session. The board took roll, heard public comment (notably high‑school students asking for expanded AP/fine‑arts/STEM pathways), recognized hires and tenured teachers, presented several policy first readings, approved a block of agenda items (including personnel hires and tenures), separately approved a SECRA roof resolution, held executive session for personnel, and adjourned.
