The Land Use & Zoning Committee met Nov. 18 to consider multiple land-use and rezoning applications. The committee approved several routine amendments and rezones but held an extended, contested hearing on a Beach Boulevard proposal (ordinances 2025-487 / 2025-488) that led to removal of live-animal processing from the PUD and a new amendment limiting on-site meat-processing to 10,000 sq ft before approving the rezoning as amended.
