The Tompkins County Legislature met Dec. 16, 2025. Members honored longtime legislator Mike Lane, approved multiple appointments and budget/contract measures, advanced a solar-array project with Cornell to protect tax credits, approved contingent funding and planning work for a new homeless shelter, and debated restructuring the Office of Human Rights after public comment and a committee recommendation.
