Marion County quorum court held a special meeting Dec. 8, 2025 to consider three ordinances putting sales-tax measures and a bond question for a new community center on the ballot, discuss related financing and site issues, and to act on budget and personnel items. Several ordinance suspensions and an amendment to fill clause blanks were approved; the budget was referred back to committee for further work.
