DeKalb County Board of Commissioners held their Jan. 5, 2026 meeting. Commissioners reorganized leadership, approved routine payroll and claims, authorized an attorney to draft an ordinance to vacate a county right-of-way for a private property owner, rejected demolition bids for the Sunny Meadows facility after extensive public comment and created a citizen committee to study reuse options, and approved highway and generator contracts.
