The Springfield City Commission convened for an organizational meeting that included roll call, an invocation and pledge, certification and administration of oaths to three newly elected commissioners (Chris Wallace, Larry Ricketts and Andy Rigsby), approval of commission bond surety, filing of credentials, the nomination and oath of Tracy Tackett as assistant/vice mayor, and a series of liaison and board appointments.
