The Melbourne Beach Planning & Zoning Board met Dec. 2, 2025, approved two site plans (1806 Pine and 2003 Oak) including a condition to replace an oak tree, made leadership appointments and spent the majority of the meeting reviewing proposed revisions to Chapter 9A (landscaping/tree ordinance), debating native-plant percentages, tree-replacement rules, enforcement and fees and voting to send a revised draft back to staff for further edits.
